Once upon a time, two college students by the name of Devyn and John in their final semester decided to join Tinder. It went... about as well as you could expect, for a time. However, one day, they both swiped right and got a match!

After asking if she was willing to share her favorite food (chicken nuggets) with him, and her reluctantly being willing to share, the couple immediately clicked, albeit virtually.

After nearly a month of her dropping hints to the point where they were no longer hints, and him being blissfully ignorant to the attempts, he finally asked her out (from a certain point of view at least). The couple clicked immediately, and within 5 months, moved into her parents' home (thanks again Blair & Tina!), got their first apartment together within 7, got a dog within 12, and hid out in a tiny one-bedroom apartment in Phoenix and faced a global pandemic together within 26.

It wasn't long before more "hints" needed to be dropped, hints that became nearly commands, and on May 18th, 2024, the couple finally became engaged!
